OUR HUMAN RESOURCES POLICY
BVN, whose foundations were laid approximately 35 years ago, has considered human resources as its most important capital since its establishment. For this reason, the development of corporate culture and sense of belonging, and the support of employees both psychologically and intellectually constitute the cornerstones of the human resources policy.
All Human Resources processes have been established based on this basic policy.
• The principle of equal conditions and equal opportunities for equal work is adopted.
• When a personnel need arises, the criteria regarding the education, work experience and basic competence required by the position are taken into consideration for all candidates. The process begins with the evaluation of applications received by our company through various channels. After the preliminary selections to be made on the CV, candidates with the determined competencies are invited to an interview. Interviews are organized with the relevant Department Managers in order to determine the most suitable candidate for the sought position. The knowledge and skills of the candidates are questioned during the interviews. Candidates deemed suitable are placed in the planned position.
• The principle of justice is determined in all rights provided to employees. Training programs are carried out to increase the knowledge, skills and experience of employees. Training programs are followed and implemented to support blue-collar personnel in particular in terms of their profession.
• Importance is given to the quality of the working environment and necessary practices are implemented to provide an efficient working environment.
• Necessary measures that will ensure that employees work comfortably in a safe and healthy environment are brought to the agenda at regular Occupational Health and Safety Board meetings and their implementation is meticulously monitored.
• With the Suggestion and Complaint Procedure, employees are allowed to express their suggestions transparently at stations established within the company, and approved suggestions are rewarded.
• Department managers are also involved in various projects created for organizational development, and contributions to the projects are aimed to be made through the exchange of views.
• Decisions taken regarding employees or developments concerning employees are notified to employees.
• Measures are taken to ensure that employees are not discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, language and gender, and to protect employees against physical, mental and emotional mistreatment within the company. No discrimination is allowed among employees, and a fair and transparent evaluation system is adopted in matters such as promotion and wages.
